Ever taken part in a nighttime race? Unless you joined us two years ago at our inaugural race, probably not. Needless to say, this is going to be awesome!!!
Registration for the 30A Halloween 5-Mile/5K Nighttime Trail Run is NOW OPEN! The race will be taking place on Sunday, October 19th at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. Come run a 5K under the Florida Panhandle October night sky on a perfectly paved path. OR, better yet, run a 5-miler under that same sky, but on pavement...and on the beach. AND on the trails!
Course: Again, the 30A Halloween 5m/5k Nighttime Trail Run will be taking place at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. The "Spooky Feet" 5K course will be taking place exclusively on their paved path. No sand, no roots or rocks…nothing but asphalt! The "Scary Feet" 5-mile course will use portions of this same paved path at the start and finish; but, for the in-between part, will utilize a stretch of their awesome beach as well as a few of their trails. We tried to pick trails with minimal trip hazards, but of course any place there are trees there are going to be tree roots. Therefore, for everyone’s safety, ALL RUNNERS must have an operational headlamp or flashlight to run. No exceptions.

Awards/Post-Race Social: We’ll be giving awards for the men’s and women’s winners and runner ups for both courses. All registered runners who cross the finish line for their respective race will receive a suitably cool finisher’s award.
Swag: Awesome race swag as always! This year all registered runners will receive the official 30A Halloween 5-mile/5K Nighttime Trail Run race shirt.

All of the local-area middle school + high track and cross-country team runners can get 10% off by using the SCHOOL promo code. 5:00-6:25p: Race day packet pick-up
6:30-6:45p: Pre-race festivities
6:45p: Start of the 30A Halloween 5m/5k Nighttime Trail Run
7:45p: Awards ceremony commences
Once the bills are paid, ALL proceeds from the 30A Halloween 5m/5k Nighttime Trail Run will be going to Caring & Sharing of South Walton.
